My
Brother-in-law (Craig) and I a couple of Tennessee Bass Anglers
made our annual trip to one of Florida's prime Bass lakes. We
hooked up with his brother (Steve) a Florida
native and fished out of Henderson's Fish Camp on Lake Istokpoga
for a week starting on March the 1st. To put it mildly, we
wore them out. The first couple of days we had wind conditions
to deal with but once we got on the Bass, we had the time of our
lives. We fished exclusively with Wild Shiners in hopes of getting
that 10 lb plus HOG to hang on the wall. This was our second year
on this lake and we have already decided to return again next year.
If anyone is looking for a new lake to try, then this one is definitely
worth a try.
